well first you have to tell us what kind of tires, you def dont want to mix, Rubber tires should make the car faster and drifter faster, the ABS will give you less traction and less speed. HPI t types are kind of in the middle of the two. If your just starting out i would stay away from the hard rubber(drift radials) and stick with ABS or T types.
