Hey guys,
I can fly 3 channel planes very well and I am ready to step up to a 4 channel plane. I have RF G4.5 and I can fly 4 channel planes on it with no problems. Even in winds up to 10 mph.
I had been looking around at alot of planes before I made my final decision. On the advice of a friend I bought the plane mentioned above. I must admit, I am really not a fan of profile planes. This plane is thicker than your average profile plane but it is more of a profile than I prefer. I really like to have my gear inside the plane for appealing Aesthetics. But now that I have it, I might as well build it and try it out.
Let me say this, I am not experienced at all in building planes or the terminology involved. My favorite type of plane to buy is a Plug and play. I like to take the plane out of the box, put together the already cut and glued pieces and put my receiver in it and go fly and have fun. I know what a wing is and I know what a fuselage is and a elevator, rudder, stabilizer, and ailerons. I know about linkages and I have been pretty good or lucky at modifying RTF planes, but that is about it. This plane came with the worst directions I have ever seen. There aren't really any directions. and the drawings aren't self explanatory either.
So here are my questions.
Is there an illustrated thread on this forum where someone has built one that I can refer to? That would be great so I can just read the thread.
If not, then I really need alot of help, because I don't even know where to start.
Also, the plane doesn't look anything like it does in the picture on Graves RC site. On their site is shows a painted rounded top of the fuse. The one I received is flat on top and not painted on top.
