Default RE: Help with an RCB ACU-200

ORIGINAL: Vincent

Hi Edison,
The unit is plumbed exactly like the instructions. I believe i am supposed to set the valve sequence in the advanced mode but there is no step or order in what i am supposed to do first or last or whatever [:@] I just want the doors open with gear down, gear up doors close etc. The brakes work fine and the air pressure and other features are good too. When i switch the retrac lever the door 2 valve that i am not using cycles first, the door 1 cycles and then the gear move up very slowly, all out of time?? ugh... i fiddled with this for hours today. I hope you can tell me exactly what to do with it. I don`t feel too bad my friend Jim Mcewen who is an aerospace engineer gave up on it too...[]

Hi Vin,

First of all, the advanced mode is for adjusting valve position. As for ACU-200, normally we don't need to enter into the advanced mode, which is factory mode and should be applied under special circumstance.

Such planes as F-16, its gear door stays open when landing and colse when takeoff , then no need to connect Door2 valve, just connect to Door1 valve for all doors that need open. Besides, set D2O-GU and GD-D2C to be 0 second.

The valves of the ACU-200 can slow the action of the landing gear, so just set the time a little longer between each step.

Thanks!

Edison
