Set-Up Help
Hey guys. Not sure if yall have followed my scratch build thread in the regular pattern forum but I'm considering converting my plane to electric. I have had several "small" electric planes (3 cell lipo), but this would be my first heavy-duty set-up. I'm still considering getting a YS 140 unless I'm convinced otherwise. The plane weighs a little more than 8 lbs dry with the YS 110s engine. Reason for wanting a new power plant is because this airframe has a lot more drag than I had anticipated and needs more help on the up lines. I'm looking for a rather cheap set-up since (1) don't have a job (2) will be full time college student starting mid August (3) don't have the time to fly as often as I would like. I've been looking at the Hobby City stuff but see that every once in a while there is someone who gets a dud. If I could get help from you guys that would be awesome!
