Some of the info your looking for might be found in the link below to a older thread here on the E-Flite forum. I know Gary (Goldslinger) and Rice had changed over there CX2's to some CF for the shafts. Hope it gets ya started.... Mostly focused on the CF outer shaft. Somewhere on here there was a listing of the sizes, but I can't remember where. Yeah I need to replace my inner shaft on my CX2 also. I actually have it on the workbench for the last few days to work on her a bit. My CPP's training gear uses the same diameter as the CX2's inner shaft, so I'am going to cut off a chunk of the CF rod that goes to wiffle balls and cut to length, and apply a couple of those flat spots in the 2 key areas and then see how it goes. It should be a walk in the park, nothing to complicated there.

Its been on the bench for about a week, I suppose now would be a good time to piddle ! Good luck to ya.....
