[8D] bandit, love your indomitable spirit. Fortunately, I had enough flying experience before buying the Cub that, along with my carbon fiber structural reinforcement experiences, except for the lack of a brushless inrunner motor that will eventually be installed, my FZ Cub is a real killer.
If it wasn't so pretty I wouldn't like it so much. I have made my repairs visible enough to be useful as conversational topics about crashing and repairing excitement.
With powerful 1.5 - 2 ounce LiPos the little ship flies almost up to my expectations. As a now totally committed fighter pilot my use of the Cub will be to allow it to continue to hang in the garage to be used only as a static teaching aid until I finally get around to "souping" it up.

Modeling's rendezvous with destiny will surely be unstoppable when something greater than the narcissistic pleasure of an esoteric chosen few is adopted in modeling.
