Tianci,

The new high end radios like the 14MZ, 12FG,12Z Futaba's allow you to adjust the speed of the servos if so desired. I am not sure if the JR TX's do it,...I think the 12X does?

I have always run a slower rudder servo, especially on my big stuff! Why? Well,...the slower speed provides a more exponential feel without using lots of Expo. to soften the stick response. It can also help snap entries and exits as well. The digitals today are very fast and the 2048 or 2.4 is much more responsive than the older 1024. Its' just another way to help fine tune your machine to your liking without having to use programmers. The programmers (HItec) are great tools to fine tuning the dead band width, speed, EPA, etc,..lots of kool stuff.

Hope that helped,...
