Default RE: Hi-Tec HS225 for Dual Elevator Servos

I have heard warm and fuzzy as well as not so warm and fuzzy about these servos. I bought some for a Tracer (50 size pattern) and built them into the wing of the Vertigo for the ailerons, one for each side. As you know, you cannot believe everything that you read on the internet at face value, so I am going to install them in the ailerons on the china trainer (expendable) and if I like them, I will keep them in the Vertigo (NOT expendable). If not, then I will install bigger servo mounts and install some ds821 servos that I bought. I'm going on vacation for a spell, then I will give them a whirl.

I like them because they are light and strong. And if you consider the weak servos that we used quite successfully in the old days, they should work well. We shall see.
