RE: Can anyone help me identify this biplane?
I've got to agree with Gene, a Great Planes Super Aeromaster. There were three wing configurations you could use and the N struts were optional. My disk that has photos of mine is off line now, but I used the swetp wings both upper and lower. And didn't use the t N sturts which I'm thinking was a big mistake on my part. I've yet to fly it, and I'm tinking about the struts, and a new hinge job on the ailerons before I do.
It's a great looking plane, Heavy, but good looking. Mine comes in about 9 lbs with a Mag 91 for an engine. The kit calls for a 91 or 1.20 four stoke, but for the life of me, I couldn't find a way to put an O.S 1.20 pumper in it. The firewall wasn't big enought fot fit a motor mount on.
