I know of a few people using these as aileron servo's and they report they are great. I believe they have nylon gears and while not the fastest servo out there, at 6V it does perform nicely. I think the JR Sport MN-48's are better suited to 20 size models. Good call on pulling them from the elevators on your Intruder.

While twice the price, Futaba's new coreless digital S9650's look quite nice too. I really like how CL servos leave the control surface mushy until you power them up and then they lock hard. Analog CL servos used to be the de facto standard on the classics in the 80's.
