RE: An MK 20 Size Conservation Project
The Curare 20 was next. A true classic and perhaps the most recognized pattern plane of all time.
It is a smaller model well suited to the various .25 size engines available - with or without pipe. At 47+" span and 428 squares it would do well built to 48-50 oz. No provision for the pipe is designed into this model and so the side mounted engine would have the pipe tucked under the wing as many 60 size classics do (e.g., the Tiporare - it's American cousin).
I've yet to unpack the kit and do the inventory but I did manage to get some box and plan pictures.
