Default RE: Can anyone help me identify this biplane?

Having built one of these recently, I'll throw in a couple ideas for who ever buys thta kit (but a t that price??)

I woud re-design the Cabane struts and upper wing mounting method. It is a royal pain as designed.

I would add interplane struts also and design them into the wing vs being an after thought. IEa laminated 1/16" aircraft ply/aluminum rib to attach the sttruts to.

Plan ahead for upper ailerons and build with them in mind.

I was able to use Futaba S3151 digitals for the ailerons,I was just able to burry them in the wing so only the arm was sticking out.

Imade a wedge and put it on the landing gear mount and then used a Dubro heavy duty composite landing gear. I also used a set of U-Can-Do 60 size wheel pants vs the ABS plastic with the kit.

I bought a Waco type cowl for the kit from Fiberglass Speciailites.

Ihad to cut a window in the fuselage side and put in a hardwood frame to allow the switch/charging setup to be installed. The fuselage is 1/2" thick at they point I put the switch.

What I would like to see is this plane modernized. The 1/2" thick balsa sides are a bit of an over kill and the wings, expically the ailerons are a pain to build.

All that carping about building, but I've yet to fly mine. To much time building it Iguess and lack of nerve especialy afterI destroyed my Ruperts Dad on landing yesterday.
