Don, I paid more for that kit then I did for any other old kit I bought in years, I gave 50 bucks!!! Bend me over and spank me hard!!! It's a nice little plane but there are a bunch out there that are better flying. It's just not worth anything like that ebay price!!
I didn't have any problems with the cabanes but I would redesign the N-struts more like the Ultimate. I don't take mine apart so once set up it is what it is.
I installed the two servos on the bottom wing and only have the two ailerons but if you had four ailerons it would sure make for a better roll rate. I don't think I would go with four servos but I would use bigger servos and push rods. I like the stock cowl so I built and used it. I also made up the stock LG. It works pretty well but I only flew it from hard packed fields.
It's not a very tough plane to fly, it tracks very well so it's easy to take off and land and a ***** cat in the air.
Send it on down and I will be happy to maiden it and get the trim set up for you!!
