If you are using a .10, you probably are better off geting the HS-65HB's. This is the karbonite gear version, they are a lot stronger than the HS-55's and don't weight that much more to have an impact on the planes performance. I have HS-65HB's mounted in my Herr Lil Extra powered by an OS .10 FP and haven't damaged one yet. I'll be converting it over to a .15 but will keep the same servo's.
There is a 1/2A traveling plane called GRACE (see sticky at the top of the 1/2A forum) that is using the HS-65HB's. It's reedie powered and flies just fine with them.
HS-55's will work fine for a reedie .049, but anything larger (except for throttle) and you're probably better off going with the HS-65HB's.
