Even a 50CC engine seems to be too much for this plane. You could do well with something in the 40CC range.

However yes, the C.G. marks on the plane itself are way off. If you go by the marks we could be said to be running the plane VERY nose heavy.

But C.G. marks can be somewhat arbitrary...


I'm using a 2000mAh 4.8v NiMH ignition pack and two 2000mAh 6v NiMH receiver packs in parallel.

All are mounted on the engine "box" to move the C.G. forward.

For me, this put things where they belong.

I have a DSM2 Spectrum receiver and satellite antenna module all the way towards the back, but this is so light that it has no affect on the C.G.

However the Spectrum is well away from any interference from the engine and ignition this way and it has never thrown any frame loss errors.
