try a low level downwind pass, when you make your final, adjust your altitude so as you exit your turn and are lined up with the runway you are just about on the ground. you may even have to float it in a bit before touch down. I use this theory with my P-51 and it works good, I've also noticed when I "fly" a plane in all the way to the ground the landings are much more pretty. I was having an issue with bouncing my landings really bad, I realized I was trying to land the planes too slow. I increased my landing speed and the bouncing stopped.
