this is how i been flying my planes....the only way i can get em into the strip....the cub however.....i havent tried it.....im almost 100% sure i just dont have the room for it here. its a handful with the rest of my planes...they dont float so bad....this cub....it keeps on going....and its not the most agile turning airplane i ever flew. i use lots of rudder to get in my strip on final....if its a crosswind.....i either overfly it or underfly it....depending on the direction....by the time im leveled out im usually lined up good...then i crab it with rudder to keep the nose into the wind....with opposite aileron....so far it works good. this cub is my pride and joy.....i keep it clean everyday....maybe someday.....i will lease a pc. of ground larger than my strip i have.....im sure i can handle the cub.....im just not sure i have the room for it....and dont want to find out the hard way. thanks all for your input.
