RE: Tower Hobbies Kaos
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="font-size: 9pt">Glad I could be of help. The Kaos was my Mecca for years. I have recently acquired an old school Super Kaos. This is a 60 size machine with foam core, fiberglass sheeted wings. It has to be at least 30 years old based on the servo bays. There is no covering here. I sanded her and primed her for the current paint job. It makes me REALLY appreciate modern covering. I think I must have used about $50 worth of primer and paint. It has Rom Air tricycle retracts. The power is provided by a brand new, 25 year old Rossi 60 with a Macs exhaust system. She is heavy, but tracks straight and true. The engine is rated over 3HP and has no problem sustaining vertical flight for a respectable period. The Rossi recently completed it’s break in and has been optimally tuned. Hopefully I will have time to fly it again soon.
You should do a build thread when you get your new Kaos.
