Default RE: Asano exhausts

There is no US supplier for Asano.

http://www.orihime.ne.jp/~cac3619/RC/ Asano Website says the carbon muffler/pipes have all be discontinued.

Mr. Somenzini did import a few of Asano headers and pipes about 5 or 6 years ago, but it was for a very short time.
Back in middle of 90s, I've sent e-mails to various Japanse websites and stores for those, but only the Hobbynet was the place that actually had them.
I got my first Asano pipe from Hobbynet for the YS53. It actually was the 30 size tuned pipe which I still have. It has more than a 100 flights on it with YS53/63. So far, I got 60 & 140 size used tuned pipes. I love them. 140 size will be back in work with OS 140RX this fall.
I have some ES and a couple of Hatori pipes as back up also.
With current trend, Hatori may be the best way to go unless there is a Japanese who will actually help us to get one.

What actually was wrong with Asano pipes??
