Default RE: Seagull Extra 300S .75 ARF?

What is your setup? (engine?, throws differ from manual?, change anything from standard?)

I'm still having problems with this plane .... it still dips the right wing if I pull back on the elevator stick too much with elevator at the manual's throws.
It always falls off to the left as it approaches a hover, when I climb straight up, no matter how much right rudder I apply.
Its tendency to do its own thing when expecting something different is going to make me crash some day......

What upsets me the most about it, is that I have a flying buddy who has both the 1.6 Great Planes Extra, and a .40 size Great Planes Extra - I've flown them both and they are great ... they do exactly what I would expect. But not this Seagull .... I'm considering scrapping it and moving the engine, radio, and servos to a new plane.
In some cases, it appears you really do "get what you pay for".
