I am going to use A123 batteries without any regulator one in a Skymaster f-4 and the other skymaster F-16 I have had real good luck with this in four other Aircraft that have 100 pluse flight and no problems. Voltage is 6.0 +or - .5 volts so it should be good for the valve operation
