Also, two quick coats of clear butyrate dope will fuelproof the wood. Dope is one of the lightest paints you could use. I've even used 2 hour epoxy spread as thin as I could get it. For fuel proofing I think all you need is two good coats of Dope for that occasional tank leak. Hasn't happened to me yet. But it could happen.

I will be doing this as soon as I know I've gotten all I can get out of there! thank you!
