If you can't afford an $800 pick-up (or a $500 car), I don't know how you can afford this hobby. Luckily (in this scenario), I'm 19 and my dad provides the pick-up . However, I approached him with an idea to cover our other cars (the ones we love) without the insurance company charging my brother and myself incredible amounts of money. I literally figured out how to get the truck to pay for itself over the course of 1 year.

I'm just thinking that you can get cars for VERY little. Your copy of Realflight plus a $200 electric park flyer and a few gallons of glow add up to one car option. Priorities will get you through, and solutions should never come down to you getting anything for free. Especially if you really think you deserve it.
