If you are considering a real flight sim then you can buy a car. I have been homeless in the past had all my household and plane stuff in a storage place. I have bought cars that will move on its own power for a $100.00 it may not be pretty but it moves you just have to look and haggle with the seller. I drove a Geo Metro for a while I could get two forty size airplanes in it. Not pretty but great on gas. Lousy for hauling airplanes. The real flight sim is $200.00 Take $150 and go buy a beater car that moves and then buy a simple simulator on ebay for $20 and you have enough left over for some gas.

If you have been without a car for five years there is alot more here than just a ride to a local field.

The guys at the field don't care what you drive they just want you to come to the field and have fun flying. You contact a club member especially your instructor he will probably come get you!! I know I would if I was there. Because I have "been there, done that."
