Nobody flies more 3D in my 130 member club than me. Mine's got plenty of power with stock exhaust for anything I do. It rockets through long verticals. My main purpose is not to prove you wrong, just to tell people that the stock exhaust is a very good option. Your previous post about the lame duck statement is not what I'm experiencing. Not everybody wants to deal with the tuned pipe cons that I listed above.
Except for the added price and the need of programming a throttle curve, there are no real cons using a tuned pipe. The extra weight over a Pitts style muffler is minimal. The stock exhaust is IMO good, a tuned pipe simply adds 30% more torque and 10% more top power. Compared to a Mojo I used to fly w/ a YS63, the Extra w/ tuned pipe still flies like a lame duck, with the standard exhaust like a snail

It's all a matter of personal taste. I'll never own a 3D gasser w/ standard exhaust, tuned pipes only. The EF Edge 540T w/ pipe tunnel is being shipped from China in less than 2 weeks [8D]
