I've used Tamiya dark yellow and find that its a bit too green.  I'd recommend priming the tank in light gray and use Tamiya desert yellow instead of the dark yellow.   IMHO it makes the yellow look more realistic.

I generally get my paint from Tower.  They are rarely out of stock and always have the 3/4 ounce bottles.<br type="_moz"/>
