Redcatracing said he would get the parts for the kid , looks like it's going to be taken care of ....... furthermore it also appears that 1400$ was a good price , since they are 1899$ from Redcat .
i also don't understand why you would beat the OP up about buying a Redcat , makes you sound kind of snobbish and elitist don't you think ?

First I did read the whole thread, as painful as that was, and the parts are nothing compared to the electronics he lost. If they make up THAT then they did right by him.
There is NO WAY that thing is worth $1400 much less the hugely exaggerated $1899 on their website.
Finally, I'm not elitist, I know what is quality and what is not. I would rather buy a Honda than a Lada, am I elitist there too?
