In full size its used neat, I have used it neat in models, but ordinary IC glow needs a bit of fiddling to get the injector in the correct hottest area of the exhaust to smoke well, Petrol engines as they run hotter don't seem to mind where you put the injection nozzel as long as its pointing towards the exhaust port of the engine, but on a turbine its very effective as long as its somewhere near the exhaust, in fact anywhere near the exhaust. LOL
