I'm flying in the morning. Didn't change the gear yet, but put on 4.25 '' wheels. I get's it another inch off the ground. let you know how this next session goes.

Dan, hope your flight went OK, you didn't report and we are wondering if you ran into yourself while landing. How do the 4.25 inch wheels work? are you still using the wheel pants?

Well .. This is how it went... Not too good as the pics show.

The largers wheels were fine on my first landing but on the 2nd flight I had a bad throttle servo mixed with a loose carb butterfly. I couldn't get her to idle down. My friend gave me a couple clicks of throttle trim in the xmitter program and it went dead stick. I came down and just put her down a little heavy .. not too bad though and it took the whole engine compartment off. Not too strong since the gear is attached to the front engine box with very little support. It's not a hard fix .. I was working on it last night and got it almost all back together. I've replaced the bing carb in the zdz with a Walbro carb..
