Yeah, I've seen the vids but no comprehensive threads or pics about them. I looked all over RCU and OSE for help and couldn't really come up with much. Hopefully I can do better and help someone else convert to BL more easily.

I think this setup should work out just fine. I went with some thinner brass tubing to run without a liner (some SV people have said their boats ran better without) and the inline rudder system instead of the offset (my brother and I both prefer it this way, plus it's more like the stock boat). I ordered 38mm and 40mm props to test the SV ESC, the stock prop is somewhere around 35mm I think and when we ran it the other day it was perfectly cool after a couple minutes of a test run so the 38 shouldn't be a problem and the 40 will probably be fine. We may end up gutting the boat (remove the big plastic bit where the battery, Rx, and ESC go in the stock boat) and use some Epoxy or something to stiffen up the hull and give us more room to run bigger batteries. I'm a little worried about how well the boat will handle though, I'm sure he'll flip it a few times.
