Did you ever consider the FW-190, this is a german warbird that lots of people say it flies really easy and looks really good as well.

take a look at http://www.daveplattmodels.com under the short kits tab, he makes one that is 80" wingspan, but this is not arf and will take quite some building to get into the sky, it is however one of the best when it comes to scale and looks once completed, I am building one at this time,
