You sound like someone making excuses. For someone that has never owned, priced, build a 1/16 RC tanks, and only driving some ones loaner one time you are quite the expert.
The KV idler setup is the same as the Tiger 1, Panther, Jadpanther, Pershing, KT and Panzer IV. There are hundreds of them out there with hundred of hours running the stock setup with no problems. To date I have no heard or seen reports of KV idler problems. As far as I am concerned if it ain’t broke: done fix it… Why don’t you get a little bit of building and battle experience before you pass professional judgments.
Your right. I am not an expert. I should not have mentioned or passed on the information that was given to me by an expert (Daryl Turner), as it was not my place to do so. In the post it sounded like I had passed judgement on the tank on my own, which was not the case. I was only agreeing with someone else's findings, who actually owns the tank, after researching what was brought to my attention. If Daryl wants to publicly make a statement about it, that is his business, not mine. So just forget what I said about it.
