Default RE: kit vs ARF

All I've ever built were ARF aircraft. I like the lack of time from when I get the the ARF and the time I can get to the field with it. And some scale ARF aircraft you can do a lot of extra detail to make the Ol'timers think twice their negitive thoughts about ARF. I plan on building a kit or two, right now I haven't decided what to build. If you have the time, space, skill and tools build a kit. If you are on a budget, don't have a lot of tools and work 40+ hours a week and raising kids, then a ARF would be perfect.

The number 1 question I get from people when I have my Hanger 9 Fokker DVII out at a show is, "Is it a Kit?" That's how good it is and many have a shocked look on their face when I tell them it isn't because of all the detail I've added. I like Kits and I like ARF, kits seem to hurt a little more when you crash them because of the time it takes to build them.

Kitbuilder said it best... I like them all as long it has wings. ( Blonde girls are so over rated though.) Don't forget, when a Blonde dyes her hair brunette she becomes artificial intelligence.
