you should develop some software that you plug your RC's ESC into that tells you all the diagnostics of your run, like temps, top speed, amp draw, and battery specs. Pretty much like an all in one program that does it all. If not then what are some programs you have already developed?
Data collection from the ESC would require enough memory installed on the ESC not to mention hall sensors, etc...It's not something you could program in. Custom firmwares for the ESC's would be cool though. Even just something that allows you to add your own code to the programming. IMO of course.
