I went out again on Sunday and flew several more times. There was a little more wind yesterday but in some respects it made landing just a little easier.
There was a buch of others out there and they were shocked that it was my second day! I actually overheard a couple of they while I was on the flightline Guy 1-''Yeah, he just soloed yesterday.'' Guy2- ''No way, this guy is going to be good, he's got it down!'' Boy, did that make me feel good! I got a cheer from the croud when I landed straight down the runway on the yellow line. I kind of suprized me, I turned around for a glips (plane on the ground) and everyone was standing up clapping! I couldn't believe it!
Man, what fun!!
I took my float plane to Texoma over Labor Day weekend, and had a crowd of about 20 on shore and 3 boats just sitting out in the lake watching me. They all clapped as I brought her in on the water, it was pretty cool. I'm glad I didn't notice them before I landed, I'm sure I would've screwed something up.
