Would it make any sense if I said that I didn't notice it till the last 3 of my say 8 hover attempts? The heli was in my office and I then transitioned to the parking garage where it is 15 degrees cooler. I didn't wait the specified 15 minutes for the gyro to acclimate...could this cause it? Does the gyro perform differently once it is 'warmed up'?
