Yeah, by design, the gyros are sensitive to sudden temperature changes....best to stick with the recommended 15 minute acclimation period if you are going from a warm to a cool place, and vice versa...some gyros seem more prone to this than others....

Also, the stock Eflite G110, while acceptable, isn't the greatest gyro out there....so some variation and inconsistency can be expected from time to time...as you get into better, more expensive gyros, they get alot better...but I flew for a year on my B400 before I upgraded, and still fly one with a stock gyro...they are OK...just not great...so you can't expect too much...
