Default RE: Perry Carburetors?

Has anyone used a Perry carb on a Super Tigre? I have busted the needle valve off of my GS 40 twice now and I am looking for something not only more durable but maybe easier to tune? Thanks!

Sounds like you are using a very old ST carb with the wire style NV. Harry Higley produces one that is a bit more sturdy, and can be modified (I have) to have a brass tube sheath that goes over the NV body which helps to strengthen those old carbs.
http://www.harryhigley.com/EngineAccessories2.htm if RCU doesn't change the link. Otherwise search for Harry Higley and sons website.

Next alternative is to get a newer carb with the much better NV assembly. Perry's work well. Now if you go eBay, there was a Perry that was made for a pump. Without the pump it doesn't work as the venturi is far too large. Check before you buy.
