I removed the wrinkled Profilm off of 1 wing tip, & the EPP has not melted, but I am sure you are absolutely right regarding the wing flexing & needing more support. I have noticed this along the trailing edge where the EPP tapers to about 2mm, & if I were to build this same model again, I think I would cut the trailing edge right back, & replace it with a balsa trailing edge.

I purchased this model to learn to fly with, so it is likely to take a lot of abuse anyway, & when I have learnt, I will treat myself to something better.
