Default Sherman Road Test

I now have a Tamiya Sherman. She is an experienced Sherman and has been outfitted and weathered and is a beautiful sight for me to just look at. However after resolving a radio issue and making a list of things I want to do to the inside. I decided it was time for a road test. I chose a wooded area close to daughter's school. a nice trail with a little mud here and there and great hills.
I was cresting a great hill and watching the suspension move and listening to the gear and motor sound.when I heard the sound of feet in shoes headed my way. In spite of fireing the gun as often as i could I did not damage to the running shoes of the schools track team. Most of them were good jumpers and cleared the tank and me. The rest swerved in time to avoid me and the Sherman in the middle of the trail.
Sherman did well in the woods runs great and the track team are very fast on their feet.
Be well
David
