So having never even touched the crankcase bolts on a DL engine you presume the factory doesn't use sealant on the mating surface. Then knowing that thousands of their engines are out there boring holes in the sky and leaving smiles on their owners faces day after day, you hear of a couple that possibly have some miniscule leak and now the factory either doesn't machine the case mating surface properly or use enough of the proper sealant.
You must remember that novice people just getting into gas and or this engine line read these statements. Even though myself and other more intelligent individuals may know how to take such errant blanket statements, others with less experience or product knowledge may not. I would accept statements of inadequacy about an individual specimen but not ones that can shed an ill light on the entire product line that are unfounded and wholely untrue.
I asked a simple question and get jumped on by you, thanks for not anwering my question. I happen to own a automotive machine shop and build engines of all sort each day of the week ,so i'm not a novice of any sort. I didn't presume anything just asked if the factory used any sort of a sealant on the case havles and get a ration.
Be sure I will never do any busniss with Valley View again thanks to your rudness and arrogant attitude.
