Default RE: AC class boats!

Sorry to only be getting back to you now.
Extremely busy at work and am working on a new boat. Also a Wick Smith design, 1.7 Meter!!

The blue boat is 69 1/2" long, weighs about 26 lbs.
If you look at the last picture of the four boats together, the boat on the far right is the same hull, only the generation before mine, with a flat deck.
Look carefully inside your hull, there will be a tag laid into the glass work with the details of the boat if it is a Sterne boat.
Mine is an Advantage II, hull #2.
We sailed at the home pond of RAMYA (Rochester,NY). Place called Carey Lake. Beautiful venue.

I forgot my camera at home when we went to the Can/Am last weekend!!!
In Buffalo we sailed on Muir Lake. North East Buffalo.
Canada won the trophy, so it will be up to the guys to the south next year to try and get it back.
Sailed regatta in the morning (blue boat won again) and then match raced in the afternoon. At the end of it all there was a tie. A tie break was sailed between myself and the top US entrant. Blue boat brought home the trophy, only just.

The keel came with the boat. If we need a keel, then we pour our own. Plenty of work, but that's half the fun of R/C sailing, the building.

If you are looking for new sails, then try Rod Carr. He makes awesome sails.
Send him your dimensions (leach, luff, foot) and possibly the old sails and he will build you a set.
I have no idea where to even start looking for old pre-owned sails.
Like I said earlier I am totally snowed under at work at the moment. As soon as I see daylight I'll gather up some info regarding sails for you.

Fair winds my friends!
