Hi, I posted a question in the beginners threads but have had no responce, so I will ask again here.
First a little info. My Trex 450 sa is my first real helicopter. I do have a Blade cx2 and the G3.5 sim, but setting up a heli is new to me. I have been doing alot of research on gyros , but not sure which one will give me the greatest chance of setting up and flying sucessfully. Other than on-line forums I won't have any guidance during set up.
My requirements for a gyro/servo set up is that it is stable in a hover and will handle slow forward/backward flight. I am learning and not %100 certain helis are for me, so I really don't want to shell out for a high end gyro.
I would sacrafice 3d performance for an easy to set up/stable gyro. Here are a couple examples of what I have been looking at.

Keep in mind ease of set up is very important.
