Welcome to the club everyone is going to have an opinoin, so here's mine. I started last year with a 450 SA also. I have the HiTech 5000 gyro on it. I found it easy to set up. Alot easier then the JR Gyro's, So I can help you out.

I love mine in the year I've progressed from very basic hovering to FF flight loops rolls flips and fast backward flight, even a couple of upright funnels. the tail holds great! rock solid. I say give it a try
