Thanks for the responce guys. The Futaba Gy401s is definately a popular gyro and will likely suite my needs, but I am going to look a little closer into the G401b. The price is right, and if it is tried and true then it looks like the gyro for me.

You may want to check out this thread if you have decided to go with the G401B; from the little I’ve read I think the results for a beginner are encouraging.
