480-size, 960Kv outrunner PLANES?
hello all,
I got the Parkzone F4U corsair awhile ago, loved it! However took a nasty crash bustin to pieces (after many many survived crashes), but all electronics are still good! I don't want another Corsair as i can't find it in an ARF version.
It came with a 480-size 960Kv outrunner, 30 amp ESC, 9x6 prop, and i used 11.1v 1800mA & 2100mA Lipos (I have 6 batteries of this capacity so I'd like a plane that can use these Lipos). I'd really like to use this equipment in another plane, but i have no idea what Arf's are out there for this particular setup.
I'm confused as to the the difference between a 480 960kV motor, a 480 950kV, and I've seen 480 1260kV motors. What is the difference? Anyone? In lamens terms, no electrical engineer talk please...lol.
I would like another foam plane since my Corsair took quite a few beatings before its final flight. But I would like to know my options for other planes that could use this setup.
Any explanations would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
Also any suggestions for planes that you know of that this setup would power, would be appreciated!
HELP!
Thanks in advance,
-Kevin
