I tried blocking the side ports and the rubber tubing going to them. Now it will only spit and spudder but won't continue to run. I have not put the stock muffler back on because I would have to cut out the side of my telemaster. Now we are converting another 25cc toro engine with a walbro carb and also blocking off the side ports. I will let you know how it turns out once we get it finished.
