I went with the GP because of the covering ( it is very nice) and I'm not into scale in a hard way. I have a van for transport so the one piece wing was something I prefer. The GP is heavier as well and I put a OS 70SII on mine, the extra weight come's in handy in any wind, she still floats on landings. Nice floats for it as well. Either one would be a good decision.
