Default RE: E-flight AT-6 TEXAN?

I have two flights on my Texan, well actually one, the first could not be considered a flight. The CG in the plane is critical and is measured from the front of the wheel wells and NOT the front of the wing leading edge. Even with two 2200 mah batteries against the firewall, I still needed to add weight to the nose. She flies like a warbird - sensitive to elevator and aileron even with low throws. My only complaint is that the center section of the wing assy is made with paper thin balsa. hard landings that would not bother most planes will tear up the gear and surrounding balsa. It is a great looking plane and once you get the CG right, flies well.

The first photo was before the first flight(?). The second, a few seconds later. She did clean up well and went back to the field looking almost new.
