I've had both the 40 & 60 4*s. You're right, the 4*s tend to "float" on landing. I didn't do it when I built the "40", but did on the "60". I put in an extra hinge on the ailerons. I flew it a few times with the "full wing". I then cut off one bay of the wing on each side. The "floating" on landing was gone !!! It also,increased the "roll rate" substantially. That was the best mod I could've ever done !
